Start Game

Launch the game from your steam library

Open Steam flyout menu

Press the Steam button to access game menu

Open Controller Settings

Go to Controller Settings menu, click on Controller Settings Button at bottom of screen

Reorder Controllers

Press button indicated at bottom right of screen to reorder controllers, ensure your external controller is first or last in ordered list

Return to Game

Press B to exit menus and test controller, if still not working try putting controller first / last depending on which order you chose first
